Our Journey

Our story began with a vision to create a home care agency that stands apart in its commitment to honoring the individuality and dignity of each person we serve.

Nestled in one of San Diego’s charming coastal towns, Coronado, we recognized the need for a service that not only assists with daily living but enhances the quality of life for our clients and their families. As the population continues to age, and chronic diseases remain on the rise, there becomes a growing demand for home care services nationwide.

At Home Care Angels, our mission is crystal clear: to empower our clients to live independently and joyfully in the comfort of their homes. We strive to be more than caregivers; we are companions, advocates, and a reliable extension of your family.

Meet the Founder, Lana Marchetti

Lana is a retired Registered Nurse who worked in the field for nearly 30 years before pivoting to Operations for a cutting-edge medical distributing company. Following her role in Operations she shifted to the home care industry after struggling to find adequate solutions for her aging parents and in-laws.

She’s now on a personal mission to bridge the gap to  improve service delivery and outcomes for the elderly population as it relates to quality of care, client/family engagement, staffing shortages, and regulatory compliance.  

Lana is a devoted wife and mother to two daughters, Morgan and Madison. Her empathetic personality and deep compassion for her loved ones allows her to make a difference each day by ensuring that your loved ones are safe, supported, and connected.

She is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Coronado.

Our founder Lana is a resident of the Coronado community and Home Care Angels supports a wide range of Coronado and and neighboring communities efforts such as Avenue of Heroes Program, Lets Dance Kids, Coronado Schools Foundation (CSF), and Friends of Children United Society (FOCUS). Coronado is our home and we share a deep amount of pride and respect for it.
